Edmonton’s newest skateboard shop has finally arrived, and we couldn’t be more excited. After 14 years serving the Edmonton area, but being on the outside looking in, the time was finally right for us to bring the service, products and people that you’ve come to know and love out in Leduc into YEG.

The Grand opening went off on Saturday, July 24th, and from the bottom of our hearts we want to say thank you to everyone who helped make this possible. The absolutely incredible response we had from the Edmonton skateboarding community, whether it was sharing our posts on your stories, shipping us a couple cases of Lucky (gone by the end of the night), or coming in to say hi to us on Saturday, it means the world to us.

It’s incredible to look back on the years that have led up to this moment and appreciate just how many people have helped us along the way. Every single person who has come in to grab a new skateboard, or a snowboard set-up has helped us so immensely. Everyone who has ever proudly worn a Rumor hoodie, or sticker slapped one of ours at a skatepark or on a chairlift.

They’re seems to be a never ending list of people to thank and to whom we owe so much. Seriously, we cannot thank you all enough for the love and support you’ve shown us up to this point. Whether your a customer, a current or previous employee, a member of our Skateboard team, our Snowboard team, or even just someone who rides with us, we couldn't have done it without you.

Not to mention the friends and family who have helped make our Leduc location so special, and feel so much like home. From the amazing art that has been brought to us over the years, and all the little knicks, scratches and bumps on the walls. Every bit of it makes Leduc special, and we know in the years to come Edmonton will get more and more of that feeling.

All we can really say is that we’re honoured to have the chance to bring the same Rumor you’ve known and loved in Leduc into Edmonton. We’re bringing the same fire and passion for skateboarding and snowboarding we’ve always had. We’re also bringing some new and expanded product offerings. Which means, for you, each store will always have some unique products, with the same great service and knowledgeable staff.
